Anxiety is a normal part of everyday life. In fact, in moderate amounts anxiety can actually be good. Anxiety helps us to respond appropriately to real danger, and to motivate us in
times of need or crisis.
Normal anxiety is usually easy to cope with, and most people are not even aware they are anxious because it is such a normal response to many situations. However, anxiety does not
become a problem when you start feeling anxious without any real cause or reason.
While passing bouts of such anxiety may even be normal, when such anxiousness starts to interfere with your normal activities, or when you start to avoid particular situations because
you are anxious you may be experiencing an anxiety disorder. Such anxiety disorders are characterized by the following symptoms:
*Restlessness *Feeling keyed up or on edge *Fatigue
*Irritability *Feeling a lump in your throat *Impatience
*Stomach ache *Being easily distracted *Headache
*Diarrhea *Trouble falling or staying asleep *Muscle Tension
Many people with anxiety disorder cannot remember the last time they felt relaxed or at ease. Living with such anxiety can be difficult and as the severity of the symptoms worsen,
anxiety may begin to interfere with many areas of your life. Treatment of anxiety disorder can be successful, but requires patience and time. Following are some of the most common
